Boy, 13, killed in central Ohio crash on icy roads

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Authorities have identified the 13-year-old boy who died in a crash on an icy
road in central Ohio.
The
Ohio State Highway Patrol said Zachary Mans was a passenger in the car
driven by his mother, 36-year-old Kristy Stone, when her car slid left
of center and hit another car Sunday morning in Circleville, south of
Columbus.
Zachary died at a hospital. His mother and 4-year-old brother were treated for minor injuries and
released.
The driver of the other car, 75-year-old F.D. Easterday, was hospitalized in serious condition.
Grief counselors were made available Monday at the Circleville middle school where Zachary was a
seventh-grader.
