CAMDEN, Mich. (AP) — Police say a baby riding in an Amish horse-and-buggy was killed after a minivan rear-ended the buggy in southern Michigan. MLive.com reports (http://tinyurl.com/6ub2khx) the 10-month old was thrown from the buggy Tuesday afternoon near Camden-Frontier High School and not far from the boundaries with Ohio and Indiana. Michigan State Police Trooper Dan Bowman says the infant was flown to an area hospital. The child was pronounced dead there. Bowman says a family of four was inside the buggy. Their conditions as well as those inside the minivan are not yet known. Copyright 2012 The Associated Press. |
