LONDON, Ohio (AP) — A prison inmate who Ohio authorities say walked away two weeks ago is back in custody.
Authorities say the inmate from the London Correctional Institution in central Ohio was taken into custody Saturday near Greenfield in Highland County.
That's about 40 miles from where 28-year-old Spencer Johnson was last seen.
He had been serving time for burglary and possessing criminal tools.
Police earlier said that he may have stolen a pickup truck from a water department after walking away from his work detail along Interstate 70.
Police say video surveillance shows that the man who stole the truck matched the description of Johnson.
