1 teen fatally stabbed in Ohio; another questioned

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police in central Ohio say a teenage girl was fatally stabbed in Columbus, and another female teenager and a man were being questioned about what happened.

Police told local media that it appeared a fight between the teenagers escalated into the stabbing Wednesday afternoon in a neighborhood on the city's east side, where responding authorities found one girl dead outside a home. The girl who died was reported to be 16 or 17 years old.

The girl who was being questioned was reported to be 17 or 18.

There was no immediate indication of what caused the fight.

The man being questioned was described as a possible witness.
