Wayne Carl Settles, 62, of Maumee, Ohio, formerly of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday June 27, 2013. He was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on March 18, 1951 to Homer and Evelyn (Manhan) Settles. He married Mary Wilhems on March 19, 1977 and she survives in Maumee.
Wayne was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended the Local 50 Mechanical Equipment Service Apprentice School. He was the owner of Kern Electric and Discount Self Storage. He was also a refrigeration mechanic for Arco.
In his free time, Wayne enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of 36 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith.
Funeral services will be private.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
