Wayne A. Rush, 73, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013.Wayne was born
in North Baltimore to the late Hermanand Pauline (Fogle) Rush. He married Joy Fraley on February 7, 1960
and she survives in Bowling Green.Also surviving Wayne are his children, Jacquelyn (Michael) Willmarth
of Bowling Green, Jeffrey Rush of Bowling Green and Scott Rush of New York; a daughter in law, Mardi
Rush; a brother, Gerald Rush of Florida and sisters, Ruth Lougee and Faye Rush of Pennsylvania.He was
preceded in death by his son Haven Rush and his brothers Marvel and Keith.Wayne proudly served his
country in the United States Navy from 1958 and was honorably discharged in 1962.Wayne retired as a
Sergeant from the Bowling Green State University Police Department and also was employed with the City
of Bowling Green Police Department. After retiring from Bowling Green State University, Wayne worked at
Wal-Mart.Wayne was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed John Wayne movies. He also enjoyed
fishing, horses and gun collecting.Visitation for Wayne will be on Friday November 22, 2013 from 4 to 8
p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio
43402. Wayne’s funeral service will be held on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green.Memorial Contributions
