 Walter Scott Bergman, 64, of Custar died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green.He was born August 18, 1947 in Findlay to Walter and Esther (Arps) Bergman. On December 25, 1974 he married Jo Ann Fortney. Scott was a 1965 graduate of Deshler High School. He was the manager and a driver for M & R Redi-Mix, McClure for over 37 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler. Whenever he had spare time, he always enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; mother, Esther Bergman; children, Scottie (Kelly) Bergman; Kimberly (Greg) Nartker; Tonia Grotz; Jack (Linda) Bergman; Thomas Bergman; grandchildren, Marissa Merritte; Jayden Bergman; Ashley Kosko; Brandon Calhoun; Bethany Odum; Trace Crouch; Jaricka Altman; Elijah Lantz; Evan Nartker; Hayley Nartker; Brock Nartker; Alexis Grotz; Jack Bergman; Josh Bergman; Joe Bergman; great-grandchildren, Ethan Calhoun; Eli Lantz; sister, Kathlene (Steve) Seaholm; and faithful canine companion, Max. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter and son, Tracy Crouch. Services are 11 a.m., Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler with Pastor Christinia Seibel and Pastor Meg Knape officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Township Cemetery, Custar. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and 10-11 a.m., Wednesday at the church.
