LlanasVictoriaObitVictoria Llanas, 64, of Weston, passed away November 27, 2009.
Victoria was born in San Antonio, Texas to Gabriel and Isabel (Ramos) Gonzalez. She married Ramon Llanas on May 17, 1961 in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green and he survives in Weston.
Also surviving are three sons: Ramon (Nancy) Llanas Jr. of Henderson, Nevada; Victor (Teresa) Llanas of Kettering, Ohio; and Esteban (Jodi) Llanas of Bowling Green; two daughters: Yvette Marie Llanas of Weston, and Delia (Steven) Llanas-Ware of Las Vegas, Nevada; four brothers: Gabriel, John and Jesus Gonzalez of Bowling Green and Manuel Gonzalez of South Carolina; a sister Maria Diana Martinez, of Bowling Green; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eva Llanas.
Victoria was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where she helped with the funeral luncheons and was part of the Spanish Ministry Outreach. She also was a member of Tontogany American Legion Auxiliary.
She volunteered at the Wood County Senior Center and at the Wood County Hospital helping with translation.
Victoria loved to travel and play bingo in Las Vegas. Her passion of cooking will live on for generations to come, as well as her love for her grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2009 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402; Tele: 419/352-2171, where a Vigil Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. in the REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL of the Funeral Home.
On Tuesday, December 1, 2009 services will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St., Bowling Green, with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wood County Dialysis Center, 1037 Conneaut Ave., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
