Timothy Lee Root, 54 of North Baltimore, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Hospice of Bowling Green after a small battle with ALS.
He was born on January 30, 1959 in Bigfork, MN.
Tim is survived by his parents, Marilyn (James) Carles of North Baltimore; sister Ginny (Terry) Brashear of North Baltimore; brothers Jerry Root, James (Linda) Carles Jr. and Joe (Michelle) Carles. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Amanda (Jeremy) Tirey, Aaron (Danielle) Clemans, Alexa (Ben) Farley, Angela Carles, Crystal Carles, Jordan, Jesse and J.T. Carles; great-nieces Caylee, Danielle, and Elaina Farley; and great-nephews Landen, Kyler and Carter Clemans and Emmett Farley.
He worked at D.S. Brown for 34 years.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor George Loper officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 4 p.m. Friday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o Smith-Crates Funeral Home.
