Tom was born October 25, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Rosemary (Polk) Bosl. He graduated with a Master's degree from Bowling Green State University in Administration. Tom married Debra Kuhlman on July 7, 1984 in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Tom was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He was an avid basketball player in his younger years; loved the Bowling Green Falcons, the Cleveland Indians and Notre Dame. He enjoyed reading and trivia.
Tom was a proud Mustang owner and enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles.
Tom's greatest assets in his life were his children, Kevin and Emily. He always told people, "I won the lottery" when his children were born. He was a baseball coach and an avid score keeper, never missing a game throughout Kevin's baseball years, or decorating the Christmas tree with Emily. When it came to Tom, "What you see, is what you get." He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and his love for his family.
