Thomas D. Ward, 90, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at home.
He was born December 4, 1923 in Toledo, OH to Thomas and Helen (Gardner) Ward. On November 25, 1953 he
married Nancy Spicer in Pemberville and she survives.
For 27 years Tom was a UPS Manager in Toledo and retired in 1986. After retirement he still was very
interested in what UPS was doing.
His memberships included: Pemberville United Methodist Church, life member of Pemberville American Legion
Freedom Post #183, past member of Model A Club in Toledo and AZ and Maumee Valley Model T Club.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 60 years: Nancy, sons: Rick Ward of Pemberville, Jerry (Caroline)
Ward of Meza, AZ, Larry (Brenda) Ward Pemberville, daughters: Betsy (Jim) Robison of FL, Ann (Jack)
Browder of WV, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Catheda Freeman and Virginia Burrell.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Marsh Funeral
Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. from Pemberville United Methodist
Church, Pemberville with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating will be
Rev. Bridgett Clark.
Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, OH.
There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal
services.
