Thomas D. Evans, age 53, of Wayne, Ohio, passed away Monday (December 30, 2013) at his home.He was
born on July 31, 1960 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Martin R. and Roberta M. (Hastings) Evans. He married Deni
Smoyer, they later divorced.Tom is survived by his father, Martin of Wayne; sons, Cody Evans of Apache
Junction, Arizona, Nathan Wigman of Tiffin, Ohio; daughter, Ceylee Evans of Wayne; brothers, John M. Evans
of Wayne, Timothy J. (Mary Lou) Evans of Wayne; sister, Barbara A. (Andy) Nimmo of West Chicago, Illinois;
grandchildren, Ivalee and Rayce.He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta, and brother, Larry R.
Evans.Tom was a 1978 graduate of Elmwood High School, and was a self-employed carpenter and mason contractor
for many years.He was a member of the Albert Bowe Post #338 Sons of the American Legion in Bradner, Ohio,
and he enjoyed fishing, music, and spending time with family.Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
on Saturday (January 4, 2014) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life Service
will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday (January 4, 2014) with Pastor Mark Kuhlman officiating.A bereavement
luncheon will be held immediately following the service at the Albert Bowe Post #338 American Legion in
