Theresa M. Hoffman, 99, died peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her home in Helena.
She was born the third of 12 children to Frank and Anna T. (Siler) Sheets on March 4, 1913, in Defiance County Ohio. She married Edward J. Hoffman on June 15, 1940. He passed on October 25, 1982
She is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline (James) Instone of Bowling Green, Judy (James) Redenbo of Toledo, Janice (James) Stricker of Helena; two sons, James (Betty) Hoffman of Helena and Joe Hoffman of Fremont; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; siblings, Martin Sheets, Irene Zipfel and Coletta Sheets, all of Defiance.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, July 10, 2-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg, where vigil services will begin at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Millersville. Rev. Ted Miller will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, Sandusky; St. Bernadine Home, Fremont; or St. Mary's Church.
