Steven L. Trutt, age 62, of San Tan Valley, AZ. and formerly of McComb and Deshler, died Monday July 22, 2013 1:50 p.m. MT at his residence.
He was born February 16, 1951 in Findlay to James and Betty (Godlove) Trutt, they are both deceased. On December 14, 1991 he married Jody Davis and she survives.
Also surviving is a brother Terry Trutt of Philippines.
Steve was a 1969 graduate of McComb High School.
He was an Army National Guard Veteran serving from 1969-1975. He retired as manager of the County Landfill.
Steve was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a fan and owner of Standard Bred Racing Horses. Steve was a HOG member and loved riding his Harley. He was a member of the American Legion in Arizona. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and working on the farm with his father.
Visitation will be on Sunday July 28,2013 2-8 p.m. at the HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME in McComb. The funeral service will be on Monday July 29, 2013 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Mayne officiating. Internment will be in McComb Union Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites being performed by the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad.
