Stanley M. Irons II, 73, of Oregon, Ohio, formerly of Luckey, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014,
surrounded by his family.
Stan was born on January 3, 1941 in Kane, Pennsylvania, to Stanley and Gertrude (McCawley) Irons.
He was a 1959 graduate of Waite High School and attended The Ohio State University.
On June 2, 1962 (6-2-62), he married Patricia Spitler.
Stan worked for Goodyear, Motor Wheel, and Johnson Controls as a supervisor, retiring in 2003.
For 52 years, Stan was a member of Paragon Masonic Lodge and a member of the Ancient and Accepted
Scottish Rite of Ohio since 1981.
He was a longtime member of the Wood County Amateur Radio Club. Stan was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed
fishing and spending time with his family at his cottage in Ontario, Canada.
Stan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia; children, Kevin (Karen) Irons, Angela (Kevin)
Lambert, Michael (Kristan) Irons; grandchildren, Joshua Irons, Jonathan Irons, Darek Lambert, and
Mitchell Lambert. Stan is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Morrison.
Private graveside services will be held at Lake Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
