Sharon K. Rex, 66, of Rudolph, Ohio and most recently of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014.
Sharon was born in Adrian, Michigan to the late Maynard Barnaby and the late Alice Bowerman.
Sharon is survived by her daughter: Cindy (Jerry Root) Rex, of Rudolph, Ohio; and her four legged furry companion Joey, who brought much joy to her life.
Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her stepfather: Hobart Bowerman; and her brothers: Richard and Kenneth Barnaby.
Sharon retired from Cooper Standard in Bowling Green. After retirement, Sharon and her daughter owned and operated the former Ducky's Flower Shop in North Baltimore, Ohio. During this time Sharon also owned Granny's Cupboard located in the Petro Mall in North Baltimore.
After retiring from the floral business, Sharon enjoyed working part time for the Great Scot grocery store North Baltimore.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with her daughter and extended family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to converse with people she met. Sharon also had a love of gardening which led her to opening the flower shop in which she was able to use her beautiful flowers she grew to make custom arrangements for her loyal customers.
She was a former member of the American Paint Horse Association and the Ohio Paint Horse Club. Sharon enjoyed raising and showing horses with her daughter, she looked forward to the time of the year when the foals were born. Sharon's family, friends, horses and dog meant everything to her and brought her great joy in life.
A Celebration of Life service for Sharon will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Sharon's honor may be given to the Wood County Humane Society, 801 Van Camp Road, Bowling Green, OH 43402.
