Sharon Ardell Kolinski

Sharon Ardell Kolinski, age 76, of Toledo, OH passed from this life to eternity on Tuesday, April 15,
2014 after a brief illness.
Sharon was born June 7, 1937 in Luckey, OH, the daughter of Carson and June Creps (Spahn).
She was a 1955 graduate of Washington Township High School in Tontogany and attended Stautzenberger
Business College in Toledo.
Sharon worked off and on many years while raising her family, and after her early retirement from the
Wood County Sanitary Engineers Office she enjoyed tending to her garden plants and flowers as well as
traveling and hosting many holiday parties for family and friends. Sharon enjoyed life and was a kind,
sweet, loving person. Everyone’s best friend.
At the time of her death she was VP of the General Mills Retiree Club of Toledo, served on the Board of
the Stoney Creek Condo Association and was a member of Elks Lodge #53 and T.A.P.S
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roman "Chips" Kolinski, and
stepdaughter, Doris Coleman of Quincy IL.
Surviving are her brothers, Kent (Carlene) Creps of Bowling Green OH, Garth (Karen) Creps of Luckey, OH
and sister Gloris (Tom) Castles of Columbus, MT; children, Pamela (John) Fronce of Perrysburg, OH,
Debora (Terry) Rothenbuhler of Cygnet, OH, Randall Van Vorce of Boise ID, and Donald Van Vorce of Salt
Lake City, UT; special aunt, Ardith Phillips of Aurora, CO; brother-in-law, Daniel Kolinski of Ottawa
Lake, MI; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition, Sharon is survived by stepchildren, Linda Nyler of Temperance MI, Deborah (Greg) Dusseau of
Temperance, MI, Robert (Kathy) Kolinski of Colorado Springs, CO, Marsha Ashman of Oregon, OH, Mark
(Sharon) Kolinski of Colorado Springs, CO, Kevin Kolinski of Toledo, OH, and Dennis (Wendy) Kolinski of
Fenton MI; also fourteen stepgrandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren along with many very special
Stoney Creek Condo, General Mills Retiree and old family friends.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd.,
Waterville, OH where services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor
Steve Baney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes suggested in the form of contributions to The American Stroke
Association, Ovarian Cancer National Alliance or Toledo Botanical Garden.
If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me then place them in my mother’s arms and tell her
they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her
for awhile.
