Obituary-Photo-SipesTheodore L. Sipes, 69, of Bowling Green, waited for Jesus in his home and passed away peacefully on April 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Ted was a devout Christian man who faithfully served God.
He was born in April 24, 1944, in Galion, Ohio, to Clarence and Juanita (Ness) Sipes. They preceded him in death along with his brother, Barry, and sister, Patricia.
Ted married the love of his life Josephine (Jo) M. (Bunde) on February 11, 1967, in Waterville, Ohio. They have one daughter, Lisa Lynn. Ted is survived by his beloved wife and daughter.
Ted attended Galion Public Schools and served in the Air Force before beginning his college studies. He received his Bachelor's degree in Education (Industrial Technology and Speech Education) and his Master's degree in Education (Special Education) from Bowling Green State University. Ted also received his Ed.D. from Wayne State University in May of 1974.

Lorne E. Adkins, 74, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away April 15, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 23, 1939 to Carl and Dorothy Adkins.
He was employed as a stationary engineer at Hunt Wesson and St. Charles.
Lorne was a lifelong resident of Northwood and a graduate of Olney High School. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Lorne enjoyed working with old lawn mowers, garden tractors, and watching WWE.
He is survived by his sister, Bonita Deal and brother-in-law Gerald Deal; cousins, Shirley (Robert) Businger, Marilyn (Jerry) Lewandowski, and Sandra Grove.

Robert "Bob" Trimble died April 6, 2014 in Bayview, Ohio.
Bob had lived in Cygnet from 1946 to 1962.
Local survivors include a son, Rick Trimble of Fostoria.
Ransom Funeral Home, Castalia, handled arrangements. Rev. Don Goodwin, of Fostoria, led the service.

Cynthia-Zwierlein-obitCynthia Jean (Cromer) Zwierlein passed away on April 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving family in Bowling Green, OH after an extended battle with multiple myeloma.
She was born October 10, 1947 in Sandusky, OH, to Willard L. Cromer and Jeannette L. Roberts.
On September 7, 1968, she married Ronald E. Zwierlein in Oak Harbor, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was raised in Oak Harbor by her loving parents William H. and Jeannette L. Herl, and graduated from Salem-Oak Harbor High School. Upon graduation she attended Bowling Green State University, where she and Ron met.
While at BGSU she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
Her teaching career began in Rochester, NY and then continued with Ron's coaching changes including John Carroll University, Bowling Green State University, and St. Bonaventure University.

alvin-murray-obitAlvin 'Al' Lewis Murray, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 12, 2014 at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Born on June 9, 1937 to Paul Alvin and Kathryn Mae (Parrish) Murray in Toledo, Ohio, Al was a resident of Haskins, Ohio for 48 years.
In his early 20s, Al was a scuba diver and instructor. He was a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and was active in Amateur Radio with the call sign WB8ABY. During his time with the radio club he was elected president twice. Al also enjoyed preforming magic during special events.
Al had a busy professional and civic life. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962 and was stationed at Fort Knox. He worked for Libbey Owens Ford for 51 1/2 years and was active with the Steelworkers Local 9, where he took on the following roles: committee man, grievance man, chairman and executive board member for over 30 years.
Al was elected to the Haskins City Council where he also served as president.
