BrinkSrGeorgeObitGeorge Brink, Sr., 77, of Rudolph, passed away at 1:38 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Wood County Hospital.
He was born on July 27, 1936, in Wingston, OH, to the late Lester E. and Jessie (Arnold) Brink. He married the love of his life, Erma Hainer on June 24, 1961, and she survives.
George is also survived by his sons: Ray Brink of Toledo and George (Gloria) Brink, Jr. of Rudolph; his daughter, Cindy (Marty) Brink-Mills of Pickerington, OH; his former daughter-in-law, Sonya Brink of Toledo; his sister, Lois Ebersole of Bowling Green; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Bockbrader and Thelma Goeminne of Rudolph; his grandchildren: Ryan Brink, Summer Brink, Mikaela Brink, Sarah Mills and Sam Mills; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sandy Pup.

Kaleen-MartinezKaleen A. Martinez, age 67, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday (December 18, 2013) at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon, Ohio.
She was born on May 28, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to the late John and Dorothy (Purney) Sangmeister. She married Phillip Rose on September 14, 1963 in Bradner, Ohio and he passed away on December 25, 1984. She then married Alex Martinez and they divorced.
Surviving Kaleen are sons, John (Toni) Rose of Fostoria, Ohio; Kevin (Rochelle) Rose of Chicago, Illinois; Scott (Nicole) Rose of Wayne; grandchildren, Griffin, Garrison, Austin, and Alisa.
Kaleen was the owner/operator of the Edgewood Inn near Pemberville, Ohio.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Carey-Mary-obitMary Alice Carey, 85, of Arlington passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green.
She was born on July 18, 1928 to the late Park and Amber (Groman) Williams in Hancock County. She married Raymond Carey on August 13, 1948 and he preceded her in death on November 28, 1997.
She is survived by two sons: James "Jim" (Pattie) Carey of Bowling Green and Patrick "Pat" (Christine) Carey of Upper Sandusky; nine grandchildren: Michelle Carey, Valerie Carey, Tim (Sarah) Carey, Ryan Carey, Randy Carey, Mandie (Blake) LaVergne, Ashlie (Luke) Wentz, Sierra Carey and Gavin Carey; and seven great-grandchildren: Bradley, Emma, Adam, Nicholas, Travis, Graham and Alexander.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Rayle.

FahleD2Dwayne Ray Fahle, 76, Bowling Green, Ohio, died December 17, 2013 in his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Bono, Ohio on March 29, 1937 to Raymond and Madeline (Heminger) Fahle.
He graduated from Bowling Green Senior High School in 1956. He enlisted with the Ohio National Guard at the age of 18 and retired with 30 years of service in the Army Reserves.
He worked for Bowling Green City Schools after retiring.
His loving wife Janice R. (Kramer) Fahle of 43 years preceded him in death on January 12, 2002. Also preceding him in death was his infant daughter, Madeline Gertrude, and his mother Madeline.

Jerry-Lucas-Obit-PhotoGerald "Jerry" Lucas, age 79, of Luckey, OH, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH.
He was born on January 22, 1934 in Latcha, OH to Merlin and Ruth (Christiansen) Lucas. On September 29, 1956 he married Geraldine Schmeltz in St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg, and she survives.
Jerry was a supervisor for Sprint Telephone Company, Stony Ridge, OH, for many years.
He was one of the founding persons and member of Blessed John XXIII, Perrysburg, OH, usher for Saturday Mass and served on the luncheon committee. His other memberships included: Coachman Camping Club, Moose Lodge #846, Tiffin, volunteer fireman for Troy Twp. Fire Dept., organizer of the Luckey Fall Festival where he was in charge of the flea market for many years, former Luckey Councilman and served on the committee of Zoning Appeals for Luckey.
