Lt. Cmdr. Roy Dale Snyder, 90, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Haskins, passed away Thursday (Dec. 12, 2013.)
He was born in 1923 to John and Bessie (Risor) Snyder.
In 1944 he married Martha Speck and she preceded him in death.
He served in the Navy in World War II as a Lt. Cmdr. aboard the Coral Sea.
He also was preceded in death by sons, James and Mike; brothers, Ray Snyder, Howard Snyder and Earl George Snyder; sisters Ethel Gearhart and Dorothy Buehrer.
Surviving are his daughter, Jeanette Britton, Arlington; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Born June 29, 1934 in Bowling Green to Lyal and Dorthea (Housholder) McGuire; graduated from Bowling Green HS in 1952.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Auxter Funeral Home, Bellevue. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue

Dennis M. LeJeune, 67 of Carbon St., Fremont, OH passed away on December 20, 2013 at Memorial Hospital ER. He was born on February 18, 1946 to John and Pearl (Lambright) LeJeune in Fremont, OH. He was a graduate of Boys Town. He served in the US Navy Reserves during the Vietnam War.
Denny worked as a television repairman for many years at Meyer Television and Appliances and then worked for Fremont Television. He was a proud member of Boys Town Alumni Association. He was also a member of the Fremont American Legion where he was the Financial Officer and a member of Fremont Eagles. He enjoyed photography, fishing and loved his puppy, Dayla.

David_Clair_SchumacherDavid Clair Schumacher, 87, of Findlay, died at 1:58 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
He was born on September 26, 1926 in Putman County, Ohio, to the late David and Edna (Suter) Schumacher. Clair married Helen L. Iams on June 26, 1954 and she preceded him in death on January 18, 2004.
Surviving are his children, a daughter, Connie Schumacher, Norwalk, Connecticut, three sons; Les Schumacher, Findlay; Tom Schumacher, North Baltimore, Ohio; Tim Schumacher, Louisville, Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Katrina (Jared) Rittichier, Toledo, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chauncy Schumacher.

Hiser-Betty-obit-photoBetty Lou Hiser, age, 81, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Bowling Green Manor, Bowling Green, OH.
She was born on March 22, 1932 in Luckey, OH to Norman and Elsie (Juergens) Jacobs. On August 25, 1951 she married John W. Hiser in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2013.
When Betty was younger she worked at the former Williamson Meat Locker in Pemberville.
She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving Betty are her children: Dennis Hiser of Pemberville, Elizabeth Wurst of Pemberville, Scott (Dawn) Hiser of Bowling Green, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
