Former Ohio resident John Richard Ryder died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, in Peoria, Arizona. He was 89.
Mr. Ryder was born to John Archibald and Julia Weaver Ryder on September 21, 1924, in Haskins, Ohio. He was one of four children.
On January 3, 1944, he married Jean Louise Ziss in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.
Mr. Ryder worked as a sales representative for the Bostwick Braun Corporation of Toledo, Ohio for 22 years. Later he began taking college courses and earned both B.S. and M.A. degrees in Education from Eastern Michigan University.
Mr. Ryder taught elementary school for 18 years in Plymouth, Michigan, where he also served as president of the Plymouth Educators Association.

Joan was born on October 14, 1928 to the late Lloyd and Helene Hurrelbrink.
She graduated from Burnham High School in Sylvania, Ohio on May 10, 1946 and married Jack Lutton of Delta, Ohio on October 16, 1948. He preceded her in May 1996.
Joan married Edison "Polly" Bartrum of North Baltimore on December 18, 1977 and lived on his farm on Potter road until his death in July of 2005.
Left to cherish her memories are her surviving children, Joy Lutton of Vail, Colorado, Barry Lutton of Ft. Myers, Florida, Steven and Alan Lutton of Lacey, Washington, and David Lutton of Los Angeles, California, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Kendall-Lois-obitLois J. Kendall, 88, of North Baltimore, passed away at 12:02 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Briar Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore.
She was born on June 26, 1925, in Wood County to the late John and Mary (Gingrich) Creps. She married Donald Charles Kendall on July 25, 1942, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1985.
Lois is survived by her son Ronald (Donna) Kendall of Sterling Heights, MI; her daughters: Mary (Tom) Deahl of Martinsville, IL and Cynthia (Mike) Wymer of North Baltimore; her 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Lloyd and Wayne Creps; her sisters: Fern Drummer and Helen Green.

Bovlick-Robert.3Robert O. Bovlick, 66, of Wayne, Ohio, died on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Elkhart, IN on October 8, 1947. He married Vicki Akerman on October 4, 1975, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Edward and Virginia (Zook) Bovlick.
Bob is survived by his biological mother, Lois (Nick) Beevers of Edon, OH; his daughters: Sara (Adam) Stevens of Findlay and Katie (Alex Woods) Bovlick of Fostoria; his brother, Steven (Debbie) Beevers of Bryan, OH; his sisters: Lois Mae Scott of Edon, OH, Melody Boyce of NC and Casandra Benedict of Reading, MI.
Bob was a U.S. Army veteran having served our country during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Cooper Standard where he was a Maintenance Mechanic.

McCamey-Obit-Photo-001Dorothy L. McCamey, age 97, formerly of Millbury, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH.
She was born on September 4, 1916 in Toledo, OH to Alvin and Irene (Rideout) Crago. On October 21, 1939 she married Robert H. McCamey in Walbridge, OH and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2008.
For 16 years Dorothy was a cafeteria worker and secretary for Lake Local Schools.
Her memberships included: Lakewood Church of the Brethren and the church quilters.
In her spare time she enjoyed wintering in Florida and camping in the summer with her husband, cooking, baking and doing crafts and crossword puzzles.
