Douglas Stearns, 57, of Fostoria, died Sunday.
Born to Bill and Judy Stearns. Married Beverly Jayne Freischlag, and she survives. Also surviving are his mother, Judy Stearns; son, Chuck Stearns; brothers, Jeff, Gary and Tom Stearns, all of Fostoria.
Visitation is Thursday 4-7 p.m. at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria

Robert Sigler, 93, Deshler, died Tuesday, (Jan. 7, 2014).
Survived by children, Larry Sigler, Kissimmee, Fla.; Linda (Richard) Babcock, Deshler; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded by infant son, Sheldon; siblings, Elizabeth Hicks, Pauline Blake, Currie and Ivan Sigler.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Rodenberger Funeral Home.
Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday.

Trausch-obit-picJohn M. Trausch, age 68, of Walbridge, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014, in his residence, due to complications of Diabetes.
He was born on May 29, 1945 in Fulton County to Clarence and Mary (Diemling) Trausch.
John was employed with Libbey Glass for 35 years before retiring.
On April 10, 1982, he married the former Cathy Ayling.
John was an avid fisherman and was also known as a jokester.

Votava-Obituary-PhotoRetired Bowling Green Police Chief Thomas E. Votava, 68, of Grand Rapids, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014.
Tom was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward and Dorothy (Baker) Votava. Tom married Diana Pulschen on September 29, 1974 in Port Clinton, and she survives in Grand Rapids.
Also surviving Tom are his mother, Dorothy of Schaumburg, Illinois; daughters, Arika (Brett) Dennison of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Kate Votava (Craig Hamilton) of Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Carol Rabalais of Kingsport, Tennessee; Terri Votava of Dahlonega, Georgia; and Patti Howerton of Schaumburg, Illinois; a brother, Edward "Rusty" (Lynn) Votava of Roselle, Illinois; sister-in-law, Donna Pulschen of Bowling Green, Ohio; a niece, Taylor and nephews, Chip (Sarah), Ed, Bob and Jack.

Evelyn (Pat) M. Smestad, previously of Bowling Green, passed away on December 25, 2013 in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was born on February 7, 1920, in rural Wood County, just north of Bowling Green, to the late Claude and Imogene (Hempy) Devlin.
She is survived by her three daughters and son: Connie (Don) Sarver, of Bowling Green; Cathie Rendina, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Carol (Robb) Smestad-Reichert of Bowling Green; and Gregory (Sherry) Smestad, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and seven grandchildren: Cindy (Randy) Ducat, Amy Ducat, Lorie (Gary) Morelock, Michael Rendina, Karena Smestad, Luke Holmen, and Megan Holmen and eight great-grand children.
