Kern-Anna-obitAnna McGrain Kern of Windham, NH, passed away peacefully at her home January 11 at the age of 95.
She was the wife of the late Frank A Kern.
Ann had resided in Windham since 2006.
One of 11 children, she grew up in North Baltimore, Ohio. She attended North Baltimore High School and graduated from the Toledo Beauty Academy and worked in Swanton, as a beautician. After marrying Frank in 1939 they resided and raised a family in Toledo, Ohio until 1984 when they retired to Naples, FL.
Both Ann and Frank moved to Windham, NH in 2006 to the home of their daughter, Dianna Fallon.
Anna enjoyed creating art, birding, golf, sunsets, award winning baking, and her family.

John-Thompson-obitJohn D. Thompson, 51, of Pemberville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 14th, 2014 at Wood County Hospital.
He was born Oct. 30th, 1962.
He was a graduate of Eastwood High School and was employed with Extreme Hood Cleaning, with Aaron and Lesa Damron of Risingsun.
He loved fishing, hunting, astronomy and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his parents, John and Elisabeth Thompson, Bradner; brother, Mark Thompson, Bradner; sisters, Sylvia (Lee) Cuthbert, Pemberville, and Christa (Mike Best) Thompson, Bowling Green; nephews, Wesley Roberts, Pemberville; Michael Roberts, Midland, TX; and Markus Thompson, Bradner; niece, Christa E.

Travers-Obit-PhotoMichael J. Traver, age 59, of Luckey, OH, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital, Toledo, OH.
On July 26, 1954 he was born in Fort Knox, KY to Wesley and Genelea (Stout) Traver. In Las Vegas, NV he married Jacqueline Capone on June 3, 1978 and she survives.
Mike was a truck driver, farmer and loved to grow fruit trees.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 35 years: Jackie, daughter: Nicole (Dustin) Monhollen of Millbury, mother: Genelea Traver of Ellwood City, PA, brother: Mark (Mary) Traver of MI, nieces, nephews and very special canine friend: Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his father: Wesley and sister: Theresa Walker.

Rosemary A. Meade, age 93, of Perrysburg, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania.
She was born on January 20, 1920 in Toledo to Fred and Lucille (Hebner) Gantz.
Rosemary worked for over 20 years in the dietician department at Wood County Hospital.
She enjoyed fishing and taking care of all of her dogs from over the years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family will remember her for her spunky personality and great sense of humor.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ruth Underwood; daughter-in-law, Sharon Meade; grandchildren, Andrea, Bernie, Babette, Chris, Doug, David, Milissa, Michelle and Bill; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

John-Cain-obitJohn Emerson Cain, 75, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away peacefully on Dec. 29th, 2013 with his family by his side.
John is survived by his wife Joan; children Lisa (Dave) Dickey; Casey Cain; Kevin Cain; Kelly (Neal) Hiett; eight grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann (Eldon) McNutt.
John grew up in Bowling Green, OH. He was the son of entrepreneur parents who started Cain's Potato Chip Company, Inc. in 1936.
In 1963, John, with his family and parents moved to Tempe, AZ and started a potato chip and snack food company.
In 1982 John discovered Dwarf Cars that sparked his life-long passion - RACING! Dwarf Car Co Inc. was formed and he proceeded to introduce the
