Josepha-Kuebeck-obitJosepha Maria "Mitzi" Kuebeck, 92, a resident of Bowling Green, Ohio, and formerly of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away Monday at Claire Bridge Sterling House, Bowling Green.
Prior to her death, she was employed with the McCord Corporation in Wauseon.
She was an avid hobbyist, enjoying cooking, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She began these pastimes early in her childhood and cultivated them throughout her life.
Mrs. Kuebeck was born May 14, 1921, in Vatra Moldovitei, Romania, to Philip and Wilhelmina (Gruen) Twardowski. On May 15, 1949, she married Robert Kuebeck in Meinersen, Germany. In 1956, she immigrated to the United States with her family.
She settled in Wauseon and was a member of St. Caspar's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Edelbert J. Kuebeck, M.D.; a brother, Joseph; and two sisters, Elvira, and Agnes Schmitt.

Lynne-Myerholtz-obitLynne Myerholtz, 56, of Whitehouse, Ohio passed away peacefully in the presence of family on April 6th, 2014.
He was born May 9th, 1957 to Robert and Shelby Myerholtz.
He is survived by his children Brandon Myerholtz of Haskins, OH and Brooke Paulson, of Whitehouse, OH; two grandchildren Jaxon and Madelynn Paulson; his parents Robert and Shelby Myerholtz of Waterville, OH; brother Rob (Shelly) Myerholtz of Weston, OH; brother Shawn (Carolyn) Myerholtz of Whitehouse, OH; sister Paige (Scott) Brown of Grand Rapids, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend, Demarie Joseph-Dull.
Lynne attended Otsego Schools before graduating from Penta County Vocational Schools' Automotive Technology Program, Class of 75. He donated many selfless hours of time and materials from his Hi-Tek Signs business to countless community-oriented projects, no matter how big or how small.

Helen-I-Smith-obitHelen Inez Smith, 93, of Bowling Green, went home to her Lord and Savior and her dearly missed family on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
She was born on June 9, 1920 to Earl and Mary (Schilling) Barton. On March 27, 1939 she married Eugene R. Smith in Auburn, IN and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2004.
Helen was a member of the Village View Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking and was loved for her cookies.
Helen worked for over 13 years at Chrysler in Perrysburg. Earlier she worked for many years at Deshler Products and helped out on the family farm.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Eugene D. (Carolyn) Smith, son-in-law Gary Kidd, her grandchildren Abigail (Richard) Welch, Sara (Bernard) Blasius, Mary Kidd and Elizabeth Kidd, and her great-grandchildren Michael and William (Alexandra) Blasius and Bethany and Nathan Welch.

Victor-Schulte-Obit-PhotoVictor Schulte, age 87, of Woodville, OH passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio.
He was born on October 20, 1926 in Woodville, OH to Henry and Augusta (Hurdelbrink) Schulte. On April 9, 1947 he married Marjorie Hagemeyer in Bowling Green, OH and she survives.
Victor was a lifelong farmer and a member of Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville, OH, where he was very active. His other memberships included: Landmark Elevator Board, Luckey Farmers Elevator Board for 18 years, Past President of the Ohio Tomato Growers Association, Farm Bureau Membership Drive for over 50 years, and many other farm organizations.
Surviving Victor is his loving wife of 67 years: Marjorie; children: Thomas (Carol) Schulte of Orange, TX, Mary (John) Satterfield of Woodville, OH, Jane Zimmerman of Englewood, OH, Joan (Gregory) Cornell of Pemberville, OH, Timothy (Jane) Schulte of Woodville, OH;

Dr. Susan Smith Arpad died Monday, April 7, 2014, from multiple myeloma, an incurable bone marrow cancer. She was 76.
Susan was born April 23, 1937, in Wilmington, Delaware, to Montford and Lillian (Eddleston) Smith.
She graduated from Wilmington Friends School in 1955. She received her bachelor's degree from Smith College, her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Delaware, concluding her studies in 1974.
After brief history teaching positions at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware, and George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, Susan became a professor of popular culture at Bowling Green State University in 1975. In 1982, at the request of Governor Richard Celeste, she founded the first Women's Studies program in the state of Ohio, among the first in the nation. In 1986, she became the Chair of the Women's Studies Department at California State University, Fresno (CSUF), one of the largest such departments in the nation.
