obituary-Photo-GetzRobert (Bob) Getz, 77, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014.
Bob was born in Perrysburg, Ohio to the late Frederick and Catherine (Eckel) Getz. He married the love of his life, Beverly (Becky) Leady, on November 3, 1956 at St. Rose Catholic Church and she survives in Bowling Green.
Also surviving are his children: Theresa (Kim) Long of Pemberville, Thomas Getz of Toledo, Tamela (Kevin) Oberdick of Luckey, Tanya (Michael) Brown of Weston, Timothy (Kimberly) Getz of Weston, Tina (Carl) Kale, and Trisha Getz of Bowling Green; a brother: Franklin (Karin) Getz of Pemberville; grandchildren: Christopher, Rob, Angela (Ryan), Curtis, Daniel, Catherine, Michelle (Nolan), Michael, Krysteena, Jacob, Tyler (Molly), Kendra, Chad and Katie; great-grandchildren: Kellan, Logan, Addison and Lyla.

TuckerobitNancy C. Tucker, 68, of Bowling Green, passed away at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Wednesday January 23rd surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born in Louisville, KY on July 20th, 1945 and was adopted by Eleanor Chappell of Bowling Green. Nancy also grew up with her adoptive grandparents Velma and Arch Alsup.
Nancy attended Church Street School, Conneaut School, Bowling Green Junior High School, and graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1963. Nancy also attended and graduated from Stautzenberger Business College and took various courses at BGSU.

OBITUARY-FLORES-LisaLisa Flores, 49, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2014.
Lisa was born in Wauseon to Williard Ramage and Nancy (Jones) Telles and they both survive. She married Joseph Flores and he also survives.
Other survivors include her children: Jennifer Flores, Marina (Jimmy) Coup, Jaime and Jeremy Flores; grandchildren: Cheyenne, Serenity, Anthony, Dallas and Jaidehn; siblings: Amy Frame, Lois Telles and Kenny Ramage.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joey.
Lisa was a graduate of Otsego High School and Penta Vocational School. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and cheering for the San Francisco 49ers. Lisa loved to cook and was especially known for her tortillas. Most important thing in Lisa's life was her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

JagodzinskiobitJoseph "Papa Joe" Jagodzinski, age 94, formerly of Sandralee Dr. in Toledo, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Bowling Green Manor, Bowling Green, OH.
He was born on February 14, 1919 in Toledo, OH to Ignatius and Veronica (Lipowski) Jagodzinski.
A WWII U.S. Army Veteran, Joseph retired from Meilink Steel Safe Co. in 1981 after 31 years of employment as a welder. He had previously worked for American Can and Columbia Burner.
Joseph was longtime parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, where he worked for many years as the church custodian. He also volunteered there as an usher and was a member of the church's Holy Name and St. Vincent De Paul Societies.

John-Hillier-obituary-photoJohn Richard "Dick" Hillier, 74, of Wayne, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014.
John was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Howard and Betty (Loomis) Hillier. He married Sandra Stretchberry on November 13, 1960 and she survives.
Also surviving John are his children: Brad Hillier, Lori Sapp, John and Scott Hillier; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister: Carol Nagel; and brothers: Tom and Gary Hillier.
John retired from Brush Wellman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, especially at Sugar Creek Golf Course in Elmore, Ohio and watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
John was a member of the Church of Christ.
