David-Moak-Obituary-PictureDavid "Whiskers" Moak, 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away, Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
David was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Marshall and LaDonna Moak. He is survived by a daughter: Halley (Jamieson) Williams, of Fort Polk, Louisiana.
David proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1967-1970. David served in the Vietnam War. David was a member of the Bowling Green VFW Post 1148, a life member of the VFW Post 1760 in Mesa, Arizona, a member of the Bowling Green Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2180, a lifetime member of the AMVETS Ohio Post 744 and a member of the American Legion in Mesa, Arizona.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service led by Father Mark Davis at 5:00 PM in the Bowling Green VFW Post 1148, 719 S. Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Interment will be held at a later date in the Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Geneva B. Carter, 92, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Napoleon, OH, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Quiet Oaks Assisted Living, Ocala, Fl.
Geneva was born in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Truman and Elma Saunders. Besides her parents, Geneva was also preceded in death by her husband Earl Carter; daughter Cathy Casper, and siblings: Edith Lear, Evelyn McLaughlin, Elizabeth Cox, twins Pauline Viars and Paul Saunders, and Johanna Wheeler.
Geneva is survived by her sons; Gary (Gerry) Carter, and Earl (Jackie) Carter; daughter; Bernie (Ed) Tallman; son-in-law: Robert Casper. Grandchildren; Troy Carter, Tracy Carter, Chuck (Kristie) Laytart, Kim (Phil) Bechstein, Bruce (Karen) Tallman, Mark Tallman, Cassandra (Bret) Griggs Chris (Alisha) Carter, Deidre (James) Jeffiers, Chad (Dawn) Hall, Terry (Alice Brunckhart) Jones, Mark Casper and 25 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Obituary-Photo-Beryl-SmithBeryl Smith, 90, of Bowling Green passed away Friday January 31, 2014.
Beryl was born April 19, 1923 in Sandusky County to Oby and Millicent (Wertz) Smith. He married Bette J. Seymour on April 11, 1959 and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2012.
Beryl was a 1949 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in Business Administration. He was employed at Keeshin Transport Systems in Toledo as an accountant. From 1971 until 1983 he was the Director of Student Financial Aid at Bowling Green State University. He retired September 1, 1988 as Assistant to the Treasurer. Mr. Smith served in the Army Aircorp from 1943-1946. He was a radio operator-gunner on a B-26 in the European Theater. He was a member of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Rochester, Ohio. He was a prior member of the council at the church. Beryl was active in the Masonic Order and related organization. He was the past master of Wood County

Marshall-Obit-PhotoKevin K. Marshall, age 60, of Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at The Toledo Hospital, Toledo, OH.
He was born on December 21, 1953 in Bowling Green, OH, to Robert and Dorothy (Drake) Marshall.
He was owner and operator of Marshall Power Products, Wayne, OH, worked at Autolite and was currently employed by National Electrical Carbon both of Fostoria, OH.
Kevin was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Northwestern Ohio Volunteer Fireman's Association. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, Drag Racing, being outdoors and planting trees.

Margaret-Baker-obitMargaret M. (Stoner) Baker, 96, died January 31, 2014, at The Manor at Perrysburg.
She was born January 15, 1918 and was married to Donald Baker for 71 years.
Margaret retired from Perrysburg Schools.
Surviving are her sons, Robert (Suzanne) and William (Marilyn) of Perrysburg, grandchildren, Judith (Fred) Friess, Donna Glanville, Sara Gilmore, Dana (Donald) Whitner, Lori Drown, Jeff (Gretchen) Bucher, Tammy (Rick) Lerch, Becky (Don) Anderson and Tim Smahaj, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, five brothers, daughters, Nancy Smahaj and Sharon Bucher, granddaughters Linda Whitner and Dawn Ghesquire.
The family wishes to thank the staff at The Manor at Perrysburg, especially C Hall for their exceptional care and support.
