Leathers-Billie-obitBillie M. Leathers, 95, of Bloomdale, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
She was born on November 25, 1918, to the late Clyde V. and Ethel (Carter) Strausbaugh Sr. in Gallia County, OH. She married Warren “Buck” Leathers on August 25, 1935, and he preceded her in death in June 2007.
Billie is survived by her sons: Gary Leathers of Arcadia and Mike (Sue) Leathers of Bloomdale; grandchildren: Kathleen (Mark) Rodabaugh of Van Buren, Darci (Jason) Clark of Wilder, KY, Carri (Jason) Stanley of Bowling Green, Jacob Leathers of Bloomdale, Lizbeth Leathers of Portland, OR, Alison Leathers of Phoenix, AZ, and Laura Leathers of Gibsonburg; and nine great-grandchildren.

Margaret L. Ahrns, 95, of Deshler, died Monday morning (Feb. 17, 2014) at Oak Grove Healthcare Center, Deshler.
Arrangements are being handled by Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.

Robert D. Shammo
Robert D. Shammo, 84, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at home.
He was born March 19, 1929 in Gibsonburg, OH to Charles and Mabel (Sevitts) Shammo. On October 8, 1955 he married Virginia Schuerman in Pemberville and she survives.
Bob was a life-long farmer and also worked as an insulator for P.R. Sussman Company, Toledo.
His memberships included Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville and Local #45: Heat and Frost Insulators, Toledo.
In his spare time he enjoyed taking care of his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: Virginia, daughters: Rhonda (Mark) Peterson of Galena, OH, Michele "Shelly" (Doug) Albright of Pemberville, Wendy (Willie) Fisher of Gibsonburg, grandchildren: Katie (Tom) Middleton, David (Cassie) Peterson, Chad (Victoria) Albright, Brooke Albright, Mackenzie Albright, Amanda (Derek) Wasserman and Ashley (fiancé: Casey Skowron) Fisher, great-grandchildren: Emily, Thomas, Brianna, Taylor, sisters: Mardel Haslinger and Alice Shammo both of Gibsonburg, Lucille Hoodlebrink and Margorie Gregg both of Woodville, Mary Ann Collins of Fairborn, Pat (Bob) Kline of Helena, sisters-in-law: Barb, Joyce and Naomi Shammo, all of Gibsonburg.

Mona Lu Wymer, 58, of North Baltimore, passed away at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born on January 16, 1956 in Bowling Green to Robert and Doris (Kline) VanHorn. On May 3, 1975 Mona married Tim Wymer and he survives along with her parents Robert and Doris VanHorn of North Baltimore, son Joshua Wymer of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter Trisha Lu (David) Shultz of North Baltimore, granddaughter Audrey Lu Shultz, brother Randy (Donna) VanHorn of Columbus and her father and mother-in-law James (Lelia) Wymer Sr. of North Baltimore.
Mona loved to spend time with her family, especially her pride and joy, her granddaughter Audrey Lu Shultz. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Nancy R. Case
Nancy R. Case, 83, of Findlay, passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on January 7, 1931, to the late George and Flossie (Hodgman) Roe Sr. in Weston, OH. She married Boyd D. Case on August 8, 1954, and he preceded her in death on June 21, 2013.
Nancy is survived by her son, Timothy (Carol) Case of Loveland, OH; daughters: Lori (Donald) Robinson of Katy, TX and Amy (Michael) Fingerhuth of Ellicott City, MD. Also surviving is a sister, Helen Welsh of Richmond, Virginia. She has eight grandchildren, Douglas, Donny and Bethany Robinson; Ryan, Logan and Devin Fingerhuth; Zachary and Jeremy Case and one great-grandson, Josiah Robinson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Ruth Case; two brothers, George and Loren; and five sisters, Margaret, June, Dorothy, Jean and Mary Ann.
Nancy received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Education at BGSU and was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church.
