Deanna Gene (Shaffer) "Punk" Phillips, 72, of Rudolph, Ohio, passed away in her home March 9, 2014.
Daughter of Herbert and Dayden Shaffer, deceased.
Deanna is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Robert "Bob" Phillips, son, Todd Michael Phillips, six brothers, Bud, Kenny, Harold, Lyle, Jack, and Merrill, and two sisters, Margaret and Marcella.
She is survived by her daughters, Tawney (Bryon) Phillips and Bobbie (Jeff) Phillips, brothers, Robert Shaffer and Frank Shaffer, sister, Tootie Smith, grandchildren Ashley Leimgruber, Amanda Leimgruber, Kelbey Phillips, Eli Phillips and four great-grandchildren.
Deanna was a well respected dealer with Jeffery's Antique Mall in Findlay, Ohio for 22 years, sharing her love and knowledge for antiques and collectibles.
She will be remembered throughout the community as a bubbly dedicated garage sale enthusiast, known by many.
Deanna's first passion in life was her family, with a special place in her heart for her "Kelbey - favorite baby girl." She cherished her life long friendships, so many that they were loved and cherished as a family member.
Visitation for Deanna will be held on Thursday March 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.

Mary L. Sander, age 88, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH.
She was born on April 17, 1925 in Scranton, PA to Fred and Marguerite (Hodges) Watkins.
Mary spent her childhood in Greenlawn, NY, which is on Long Island and Delmar, NY.
After serving her country in Washington, DC as a Navy Wave during World War II, she attended Murray State College in Murray, KY, graduating in 1951.
Mary taught in the public schools in Wood and Lucas counties and worked in the order division of American Lincoln in Bowling Green. She also worked in the dietary department of Heartland of Perrysburg and as a real estate broker in Bowling Green.
Mary loved music, reading and keeping in contact with her many friends. She was proud of her family, her community and her service in the military.
Surviving Mary are her children: Stuart (Tammy) McLean of Pittsburgh, PA, Bruce (Barbara) McLean of Loleta, CA and Scott (Lynne) Sander of Bowling Green, OH; and four grandchildren.

Lewis S. McDonald, age 84, of Wayne, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday (March 7, 2014) at his home.
He was born on June 10, 1929 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Paul J. and Flora M. (Steiner) McDonald. Lewis married Dolores J. Murphy on October 3, 1954 in Corpus Christy, Texas on a Naval Base.
Surviving Lewis are his loving wife of 59 years, Dolores; son, Timothy (Sue) McDonald of Risingsun, Ohio; daughters, Cindy (Gary) Cron of Portage, Ohio, and Lorrie (Gary Hawk) Hammer of Rossford, Ohio; brothers, Robert (Vilate) McDonald of Fruit Heights, Utah, LeRoy (Shirley) McDonald of Fostoria, Ohio, Melvin (Nancy) McDonald of Bowling Green, Ohio; sisters, Helen Kauffman of Fostoria, Ohio, Claudell (Chuck) Wolford of Bowling Green, Ohio, Kay (Leonard) Chapman of Bloomdale, Ohio, Carol (Vaughn) Wright of Bloomdale, Ohio; grandchildren, Michelle Cicigoi of Bowling Green, Ohio, Melanie (Aaron) Kauffman of Findlay, Ohio, Beth (Michael) Johnston of Menominee, Michigan, Aaron (Donna) Hammer of Clyde, Ohio, Jenny Hawk, Kyle Hawk both of Rossford, Ohio, Jason (Stephanie) Herr of Wayne, Ohio, Jerimy (Sarah) Herr of Risingsun, Ohio; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Martha A. Thieroff, 72, of Holgate, passed away on March 8, 2014 at the Defiance Area In Patient Hospice Center, Defiance, OH.
She was born on January 12, 1942 to Lester and Margaret (Siegel) Morris in Lima, OH. On April 23, 1966 she married Lavon Thieroff who preceded her in death on October 8, 2011.
She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, and a former Sunday School Teacher and past Church officer, a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League where she was a former officer, former officer for Thrivent Financial for Lutheran’s, a member of the Village Quilters in Archbold, Ohio. She graduated from York High School near Van Wert, Ohio, and graduated from the Findlay College, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Martha worked as a secretary for both Marathon Oil in Findlay and the Ohio Division of Forestry.
Martha also traveled to various European countries with the WBGU tour group.
Martha is survived by her son, Steven (Amy) Thieroff of Holgate, OH, brother, Richard (Joan) Morris of Quebec, Canada, brother, David (Edith) Morris of Cincinnati, OH, sister, Mary (John) Edie of Arlington, OH, sister, Maggie (Luis) Lopez of Grand Junction, CO, granddaughter, Emily Thieroff, grandson, Pete Thieroff, grandson, Matthew Thieroff.

Lawrence-Judy-ObitLawrence E. "Larry" Judy, 82, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away on March 6, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born on July 29, 1931 in Meadowbridge, West Virginia to Gordon and Zella (Walkup) Judy. He married the love of his life, Verla G. Lively, on May 7, 1958 in Clifton Forge, Virginia.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed with CSX railroad for nearly 40 years before retiring in 1988.
Lawrence was a member of Mainstreet Church in Walbridge and of the church softball team, where he played as team pitcher and was fondly known as "Honey." He enjoyed making things in his woodshop and was an avid reader. He also took pleasure in bowling and golfing. Larry was quiet, mild-mannered, well liked and loved by all. He was a great husband and dad, who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Verla G. Judy; daughter, Charlene (Thomas) Horen; sisters, Mabel Layman and Norma (Norman) Aliff and many nieces and nephews.
