Emelie (Bateson) Taylor, age 76, of Maumee passed away on June 17, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 15, 1937 in Tontogany, Ohio, to Emory Park and Freda Meyer Bateson. She married Donald Taylor on January 22, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 2010.
Emelie was a 1954 graduate from Washington Twp. High School in Tontogany. She was an active member of Hope in Christ Church of Perrysburg and the Rebekkah Lodge of Tontogany.
She enjoyed traveling, playing cards at the Senior Center and playing games with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Emelie is survived by three daughters, Dawn (Dave) Warejko; Cathy (Wade) Frankforther; Norma Wright; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Jane Titus and Norma (Ray) Roberts and one brother, Emory (Jennifer) Bateson.

September 21, 1927 - June 18, 2013
Betty Louise Zernhel, 85, of Deshler, Ohio died Tuesday morning, June 18, 2013 at Oak Grove Healthcare Center, Deshler.
She was born September 21, 1927 in Bartlow Township, Henry County, Ohio to the late Ralph and Z. Blanche (Rader) Sager. On November 2, 1946 she married Herman Dan Zernhel in Angola, Indiana and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2006.
Betty was a Deshler High School graduate and was a homemaker, farm wife, and worked at the former Dekalb Hybrids, Deshler, and Wink's Ceramics, Deshler.
She was a member of Hoytville United Methodist Church and helped operate with the Crossroads Church Newspaper. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.
