Rose Marie Dartt Hahn (May 10, 1929 - May 20, 2013)
Rose Hahn, 84, of Perrysburg, died Monday in Tampa, FL.
Rose was an elementary teacher at Woodland and Toth Schools in Perrysburg from 1968-1989. She also worked at the Rossford Ordnance Depot from 1948-1950 and Fort Richardson in Anchorage, AK from 1951-1953.
She was a faithful member of Plain Congregational Church since 1974 serving as a deaconess and Sunday school superintendent. She was also acting treasurer of the Women's Missionary and Aide as well as historian & treasurer for the Ohio Association for Congregational Churches.
Rose was born in Perrysburg to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dartt (Thelma Faye Abel). Her husband Howard "Judd" Hahn whom she married on September 1, 1948 in Monroe, MI also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son James Richard Hahn and daughter-in-law Diane of Metamora, OH; grandchildren Devon and Tanner; Tyanna, Tiesha, Anthony, Hannah, and their mother Joyce; Thomas and his mother Bobbi; and great-grandchildren Christian, Kathan, Sabastian, Tanner, Ashley, Tanner and Braylon; her daughter Amy Christian Hahn Bolt and son-in-law Bob of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Emily, Hilary, and Kirby; and son Judson Christopher Hahn of Lincoln Park, MI.
The funeral will be held on Friday, May 24th at Plain Congregational Church, 16011 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green, OH at 10 a.m., burial will follow at Fort Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg. Visitation will be on Thursday May 23rd at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home in Perrysburg from 3 to 7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Plain Congregational Church.
