Robert Eugene Humphrey, 80, of Bowling Green, Ohio died Wednesday, September 2, 2009.
Robert was born in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Henry E. and Frances Margaret (Bowman) Humphrey. He married Marleen McMonagle April 4, 1959 at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Toledo and she survives.
He is also survived by two daughters: Kathryn Humphrey of Bowling Green and Mary Souders of Longbranch, Florida; two sons, Michael of Denville, New Jersey, and Mark of Perrysburg; three sisters: Elaine Suski of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Kathy Current of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Delia Parker of Prescott, Arizona; a brother, Mike Humphrey of Holland, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
Robert was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Bowling Green VFW Post #1148.
He was an electrical technician for ATT for 35 years. Robert was a graduate of DeVry University where he specialized in electronics.
He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
Visitation will be Friday, September 4th from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, Tele: 419/352-2171. Saturday, September 5th, Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St., Bowling Green. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
