A memorial service will be held for Robert Nachtman on Saturday, May 17,
at 2 p.m., at the Tontogany American Legion Post #441 in Tontogany.
Nachtman passed on April 6, 2014.
Military services will be conducted by Tontogany and Weston American Legion posts.

November 16, 1929 – April 6, 2014
Robert Nachtman, 84, of Weston, Ohio, died April 6, 2014 at his residence in Weston.
He was born Nov. 16, 1929 to Frank C. and Katherine (King) Nachtman in Toledo, Ohio.
Robert was a 1947 graduate of Whitmer High School.
On May 25, 1957, he married Nancy Horsman in Toledo.
Nachtman served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1951 to 1953.
He was a construction superintendent for more than 30 years, working with many local companies.
Robert later became a member of the American Legions for more than 30 years. Robert enjoyed hunting and
fishing in his free time.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy; his daughters, Ellen (Terry) Weihl and Holly
(Dave) Johnson; his son, Ken (Lori) Nachtman; his five granddaughters and one grandson; his brother,
Karl (Judy) Nachtman; and his sister, Annette (Jim) Merritt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
