Robert G. Berfield Jr., age 53, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at The Toledo Hospital.
He was born on June 2, 1959 in Fort Campbell, KY to Robert and Marilyn (Schoner) Berfield Sr. On March 12, 1983 he married Kim Reef in Pemberville, OH.
Bob was a customer service representative for Valero Service Station, Ohio Turnpike and Petro.
He was a former President of ESSL, Woodville 4th of July Celebration, member of the Woodville Fire Department, Ohio SAY Soccer Association and was a former Woodmore HS girls varsity soccer coach. In his spare time he enjoyed geo-caching.
Bob is survived by his wife: Kim, sons: Joshua of Woodville, Benjamin of Swanton, Derek of Woodville, granddaughter: Aubri of Swanton, mother: Marilyn Berfield of Perrysburg, sister: Celia (Jay) Haas of Luckey, brothers: Mark (Polly) and Curt, both of Perrysburg and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Robert and sister: Vickie.
A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be served on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 416 Krotzer Ave. Luckey, OH 43443. Burial will be private in Troy Twp. Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Marsh Funeral Home, Luckey, OH.
Considerations for memorial contributions are to the Marsh Funeral Home.
