Wineland-Obit-PhotoRobert E. Wineland, age 90, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Sunday, August 5 2012 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH.
He was born on August 2, 1922 in Bloomdale, OH to Don and Edith (Horner) Wineland. On March 27, 1948 he married Mary Eleanor Morrison in Blacklick, OH and she survives.
Robert served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1945.
He was a life long farmer.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years: Mary Eleanor, son: Lynn (Pastor Betty) Wineland of Gibsonburg, OH, granddaughter: Kathryn Wineland of Gibsonburg, OH and sister: Helen Oestreich of Lagrange, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Freda Rose.
Graveside services will be private in Weaver Cemetery, Bloomdale, OH. Officiating will Be Rev. Peter Johnston. Arrangements are being handled by the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH.
Considerations for memorial contributions are: Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village or the charity of the donor's choice.
