JERRY CITY - Robert "Bob" Spackey, age 88, of Jerry City, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 23, 2013) at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
Arrangements are pending at Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne.

Bob will be greatly missed, his love for playing the piano for the Lord was his desire for many years. He has received his reward that will go on for eternity. God bless him. He was a very humble and sincere man for the Lord...

My brother, David Bortel, called me from Mi. to tell me of Bob's homegoing. He and Opal helped our family so much when my sister was ill.
I will miss Bob's e-mails. I had just sent him my second book, "A" is for Anaktuvuk this week.
The family has my sincere sympathy.
