RobertB. "Buck" Dunn, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 23,
2013.He was born February 8, 1927 in Henry County to Frank P. and Troas Q. (Adams) Dunn. He married Midge
Dohm on August 24, 1947 and she survives in Bowling Green.Buck was the owner of Dunn’s Carpet Service in
Bowling Green.He graduated from Toledo Barber School in 1948 and was a barber for a few years. Buck was a
lifetime member of the Elks Lodge, member of the Bowling Green Country Club and a member of Trinity United
Methodist Church. He served in the United States Navy where he was a Seabee. During his time as a Seabee, he
assisted in the evacuation of the island of Bikini Atoll before the nuclear detonations.He enjoyed playing
golf and spending time at his cottage at Hamilton Lake in Indiana where he and Midge were members of the
Fish and Game Club. He also enjoyed family vacations to Siesta Key, Florida.Along with his wife of 66 years,
Midge, Buck is survived by his daughters, Lynn (Michael) Hock of Green, Ohio, and Debbie (Richard) Turner of
Woodstock, Georgia. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Aaron Hock, Clay Hock, Tyler Turner and Paige
Holland, great-grandchildren, Luke, Thomas and Claire Turner, brothers, Marvin W. Dunn of Bowling Green,
Ohio, and Richard G. Dunn of Van Wert, Ohio, and sister, Phyllis Franklin of Bowling Green, Ohio.He was
preceded in death by his brother, Donald E. Dunn.Visitation for Buck will be held on Friday,December 27,
2013 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408
West Wooster Street. The funeral service will be held on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the
funeral home. Rev. Eric McGlade will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.Memorial
