Richard C. Snyder, 81, of Haskins, Ohio, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
He was born April 1, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Ora and Francis (Armitage) Snyder. He married Marie Ola
(Myers) Snyder on August 28, 1954 and she preceded him in death on July 23, 1999.
Mr. Snyder worked for and retired from American Cyannamid Co., Perrysburg, Ohio.
Mr. Snyder was a member of the Liberty Center fisherman’s club, AMVETS in Bowling Green and was a Army
veteran of the Korean war. He was a gun collector, gardener and avid fisherman.
He is survived by daughters, Pamela Sue Snyder and Linda Marie Ziegler, both of Haskins; sons, David
Willard and John Samuel, both of Haskins; sister, Dorothy Turco of Moline; nine grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, one brother and one sister.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Christ’s Bible Church
in Dunbridge, Ohio, 11040 Middleton Pike (State Route 582).
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the church. Rev. Dale Smeltzer will officiate.
Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.
