René D. Gonzales, age 48, of Wayne, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday (December 28, 2013) at
the Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, Ohio.René was born on June 6, 1965 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the
late Gilbert and Raquel (Garza) Gonzales.Surviving René are sisters, Irma Gonzales of Fostoria, Gloria
(Michael) Combs of Fostoria, Sylvia (John) Schroeder of Arlington; and brother, Gilbert (Sue) Gonzales of
Toledo.He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Raquel; and brother, Bobby Gonzales.René was a
graduate of Wood Lane, and then became an employee of Wood Lane Industries.He was a member of the Wayne
United Methodist Church, and his greatest love was music. René loved everyone he came into contact with;
especially his immediate family, and his Dwight Miller Family.Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1
p.m. on Tuesday (December 31, 2013) at the Wayne United Methodist Church, where a Celebration of Life
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday (December 31, 2013) with Pastor Mark Kuhlman officiating.Burial
will be in Bradner Cemetery, with a bereavement luncheon immediately following back at the Wayne United
Methodist Church.Memorial donations may be made to the Dwight Miller Family Home in Bowling Green,
