Rebecca L. Lieser, 80, of Seven Hills, OH and formerly of North Baltimore, died at 2:32 a.m. Wed-nesday,
May 21, 2014, at the Parma Care Center, Parma, OH.
She was born on July 25, 1933, in Portland, TN, to the late Duncan and Emma (Geminden) Cummings. She
married Rev. Charles Lieser on November 16, 1959, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1994.
Rebecca is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Bob) Garcia of Seven Hills, OH and Anita (Richard) Roberts
of Wapakoneta, OH; her son, Carl Lieser of Toledo; her grandchildren, Katie, Joe, Dan, Kathy, Rachel,
Robby and Rebekah.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Cummings; and her sister, Mary Britt.
Rebecca was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North
Baltimore, with Reverend Ralph Mineo officiating.
Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held 2 hours (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) prior to the service on Friday at SMITH-CRATES
FUNERAL HOME.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and/or Alzheimer’s
Association of Northwest Ohio.
