Ray_DavisRaymond W. Davis, 84, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away Friday, May 21. He was raised in Bowling Green, Ohio by parents Harry W. and E. Myrtle (Atkinson) Davis. His wife of 50 years, Twilo P. Gearheart, preceded him in death in 1997. Also preceding Raymond was grandson Jeromy M. Kinney in 1993. Raymond is survived by son James V. (Estelle) Davis, daughters Elaine C. (Donald) Lumbrezer and Jeanette M. (Paul) Warncke; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother Meredith (Gloria) Davis and many nieces and nephews.
A Navy Veteran of WWII and Honor Flight participant Raymond attended Bowling Green State University then worked for the B&O Railroad. He celebrated a long career in sales, primarily as a sales manager with Combined Life Insurance Company.

His lifelong service as a volunteer included the Boy Scouts of America, The Bowling Green Fire Department, and the Ohio Highway Patrol Auxiliary. He was affiliated with Christ United Methodist Church and The American Legion
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday at 11:00am at the Dunn Funeral Home where visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 to 5pm.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Community Health Professionals Archbold Hospice.
