Ralph "Buck" Semler, 90, of Findlay, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on October 6, 1922, in Findlay to the late Winfield and Natis (Sterns) Semler. He married Caroline Baldwin in April 25, 1943, and she preceded him in death on February 17, 1999.
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Ev) Cowles of Bowling Green and his granddaughter, Nicole Minnick of Bowling Green.
He was preceded in death by his brother and two sisters.
Ralph was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Findlay.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with Pastor Debbie Kaylor officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Services and/or American Heart Association.
