Ralph B. Hines, 84, of McClure, Ohio, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born November 17, 1928 in Westhope, Ohio to the late Virgil and Ellen (Sellstrom) Hines. On December 24, 1948, he married Jeanne (Kramer) Hines in Toledo, Ohio.
Ralph worked as a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and rounds of golf with family and friends .
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in McClure, Ohio, and served as Damascus Township Clerk for 32 Years.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Hines of McClure; sons, John of McClure and Doug (Elaine) Hines of Napoleon; grandchildren, Shawna (Matthew) Schroeder, Ryan (Lori) Hines, Kylie (Scott) Speiser, Lindsay (Jason) Slack, Tiffany (Matthew) McClure; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Maurice (Judy) Hines of Bloomdale.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Maynard Hines.
Funeral services will be private with burial at Hockman Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in McClure.
The family suggests memorials be made to the McClure United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society or the Henry County EMS-Damascus Twp. Unit.
