Phyllis Wulff

Phyllis Wulff, 87, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday April 2, 2014.
Phyllis was born in Van Wert, Ohio to the late E. Floyd and Mabel (Withrow) Hoaglin. She married Cecil
Wulff in 1946 and he passed away on February 15, 1976.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Denise Zephier of Bowling Green, grandson, Keir Zephier and
granddaughter, Glenn Zephier.
Phyllis was also preceded in death by an infant son, Martin Wulff; daughter, Sonja Whitesell; brother,
Max Hoaglin and son-in-law, Hob Zephier.
Phyllis was an administrative assistant for the History Department at Bowling Green State University,
where she obtained her love for history. She was a member of the St. Marks Lutheran Church in Bowling
Green. She enjoyed gardening and biking while living in McClure.
Phyllis enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and reading the newspaper every day. In her spare
time, Phyllis enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and sewing. Phyllis especially enjoyed reading a good
book. She and her daughter Sonja would purchase books and share them. In her later years, Phyllis found
a love for baseball and enjoyed watching and cheering for her favorite team the Cleveland Indians.
A Celebration of Life Service in Phyllis will be private.
