Nancy C. Tucker, 68, of Bowling Green, passed away at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Wednesday January 23rd surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born in Louisville, KY on July 20th, 1945 and was adopted by Eleanor Chappell of Bowling Green. Nancy also grew up with her adoptive grandparents Velma and Arch Alsup.
Nancy attended Church Street School, Conneaut School, Bowling Green Junior High School, and graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1963. Nancy also attended and graduated from Stautzenberger Business College and took various courses at BGSU.
On July 9th, 1966, Nancy married Brian Tucker at First Christian Church in Bowling Green.
Nancy worked as a secretary for a number of offices at BGSU including the Alumni House among others.
Nancy enjoyed reading, painting, and photography, along with writing articles for various magazines. Nancy and Brian also enjoyed "day trips" around Ohio such as the Serpentine Mound and the Harding Memorial and Museum. Their favorite trip was a trip to France where they visited Normandy, Paris, Fontainebleau, and other historic locations.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Brian; children Chris, Timm (Karen), Lynn (Pam), and Scott (Christina). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at First Christian Church on Monday January 27th from 11 to 1 with the service immediately following in the sanctuary.
