Nancy J. Lee, age 76, of Bloomdale, Ohio, formerly of Wayne, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday (June
16, 2014) at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 12, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Clayton & Marie (Emerson)
Slotterbeck. She was formerly married to Robert "Bob" Lee.
Surviving Nancy is son, Randy (Laurie) Lee of Bloomdale, Ohio; daughters, Laura Pokorny of Wayne, Ohio,
Michelle (Tony) Morlock of Portage, Ohio; twin sister, Nanette (Henry "Gene") Aufdencamp of
Bloomdale, Ohio; grandchildren, Andrew, Marissa, Allisha, Michael, Tyler, Brandon, Traci, Mckoy,
Shipley; great-grandson, Jackson; and special lifelong friend, Harlene Dennis-Wood of North Baltimore,
Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Sue Lee; and brother, Franklin
"Scott" Slotterbeck.
Nancy was a 1955 Graduate of Bloomdale High School and 1958 Graduate of the Flower Hospital 3-year RN
degree diploma program. She was a registered nurse at Flower Hospital, the Bowling Green State
University student health center and then she was a pre-school aide for 10 years at Elmwood Schools.
She was a member of the Eagleville Church of Christ, Grange, Bloomdale Garden Club, Wayne Mother’s Club,
Wayne PTA, Findlay Astronomy Club and the Wood County Historical Society.
Nancy truly loved being an identical twin and spending time with her family, especially watching all her
grandkids in their activities. Her faith in the Lord and her Bible Study Classes were some of the most
important things in her life. She also enjoyed musicals, plays, gardening, nature, animals and reading.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (June 19, 2014) at Barndt Funeral Home in
Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (June 20, 2014).
Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery in Bloom Township, Wood County, with a bereavement luncheon immediately
following at Hope Lutheran Church near Bowling Green, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bridge Home Health & Hospice in Bowling Green, Ohio.
