Nancy (Kopp) Dunn Coy, 64, of Weston, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born June 3, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lester F. and Frieda V. (Ford) Kopp. She married Jim Coy on March 19, 1993 and he survives in Weston, Ohio.
Along with her husband Jim, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dunn, of Bowling Green; three stepchildren, Cordell (Karen) Coy of Covington, Kentucky; Curtiss (Kathy) Coy of Pemberville, Ohio; Carleen (Alan Meade) Coy of Weston, Ohio; two sisters, Norma Christen of Bowling Green, Ohio; Janet (Lloyd) Lohmann of Woodville, Ohio; sister-in-law; Anita Kopp, of Stony Ridge, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, two godchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Clifton and Bonnie Rolf and a brother, David Kopp.
Nancy received her Bachelor's Degree from Bowling Green State University. She worked for over 25 years for BGSU as a Special Events Coordinator. Nancy was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Luckey and the American Business Women's Association of Bowling Green. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, antiquing, canning, and reading.
Visitation for Nancy will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648 Bowling Green, OH 43402, Tele: 419/352-2171. Funeral Services for Nancy will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL. Interment will follow in the Weston Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Nancy's honor to the Bridge Hospice, 1037 Conneaut Ave., Suite #204, Bowling Green, OH 43402; the American Heart Association, 1701 Woodlands Dr. Suite #200, Maumee, OH 43537; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
