Michael L. Schulte, age 62, of Bowling Green, OH passed away on Saturday, July 14,
2012 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on September
20, 1949, in Fremont, OH to Dale and Elizabeth (Billan) Schulte. He was enlisted
in the US Army Artillery serving in Germany during the Vietnam era.In Angola, IN
he married Donna Frohm on July 13, 1990 and she survives. Mike was an operating
engineer working out of Operating Engineers Local #18, Toledo, OH and retired in
2010. His memberships included: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, OH
and Pemberville Freedom American Legion Post #183. In his spare time he enjoyed
fishing, hunting, sports and was an avid OSU fan.Mike is survived by his wife:
Donna, sons: Andy Schulte and Nick (Desiree Gonyer) Schulte both of Perrysburg,
OH, stepchildren: Wendy (Lou) Heberlein-Riley of PA, Ed (Mandy) Heberlein of GA,
grandchildren: Tyler and Jillian, step grandchildren: Alex, Anslee, Katie, Becca
and Jasmyne, sister: Ann Hartman of Toledo, OH, brothers: Mark (Doris) Schulte
of Perrysburg, OH, Dana (Nancy) Schulte of AZ, Steve Schulte of New Rochester,
OH, Chuck (Betty) Schulte of Pemberville, OH and Carl (Jannette) Schulte of
Perrysburg, OH.He was preceded in death by his parents, adopted mother: Ruth
Schulte and sister: Cathy Schulte.Family and friends will be received on
Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 9-10 AM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Bowling
Green, OH where memorial services will be conducted immediately following the
visitation. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Schaefer. There will be a bereavement
luncheon served at the church immediately following the memorial services.
