Mary Lou Richard, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio and formerly of Bryan, Ohio died Friday, February 28, 2014
in Bowling Green.
She was born January 6, 1928 in Custar, Ohio to Hubert & Esther (Poland) Capelle. She married
Jimmie C. Richard on July 16, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Mary Lou retired from Spangler Candy Company, Bryan, Ohio and was a member of the Riverside Golf Club in
Stryker, Ohio. She was an avid golfer, walker and gardener. She was also a very proud grandmother.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughters, Stephanie of Hillsdale, MI, Barbara (Mike ) Ford, of Bowling
Green, son, David (Lisa ) of Perrysburg, brothers, Edward of Monroeville, OH, Martin (Shirley) of
Bowling Green, sister, Kathleen Capelle of Norwalk, OH and 5 grandchildren, Alexander, Andrea, Jessica,
Ashley and Kaitlin.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the DUNN FUNERAL HOME located in
the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. Rev. John Randall will officiate.
Private family burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery on Wednesday morning.
Public visitation will begin on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the service time at Dunn Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may given in May Lou’s memory to Bridge Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
