Mary L. Pickrell September 22, 1945-August 14, 2012 Mary Louise (Wilhelm) Pickrell, 66, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was born September 22, 1945 in Toledo to the late Edward and Marcella (Schwab) Wilhelm. She was married to the late William Roy Pickrell and they were later divorced. Mary was a Westwood High School graduate and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. She became a registered nurse and re-enlisted in the U.S. Army. She was proud to have been a combat nurse and worked at VA Hospitals in Dayton and Columbus. She further studied to receive her Masters of Nursing Administration. She grew up in St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar and was currently attending St. Pius Catholic Church, Columbus. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Franciscan. She is survived by sons, Chris (Lorena) Pickrell, Reynoldsburg; Sean (Mindy) Pickrell, Pataskala; Matthew Pickrell, Alexandria; grandchildren, Alexandria; Damien; Zachary; Morgan and Luka; sisters, Rosanne (Jim) Maas, Bowling Green; Jane Culpepper, Bowling Green; and Carol (Archie) Baker, Risingsun. She was also preceded in death by sister, Charlene Ballard. A Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m., Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar. Graveside services with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday prior to the mass at church.
