Marjorie Marie Mills, 85, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at St. Vincent's Medical Center.
She was born October 14, 1927 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Otto F. and Mary A. (Koons) Toepfer.
Marjorie worked at the information desk in the BGSU Student Union for 26 years.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Bowling Green.
Marjorie enjoyed vacations to Myrtle Beach, visiting the Ohio Amish Country and especially enjoyed spending time with family at birthday and holiday celebrations.
She is survived by daughters, Harriett (Steven) Sockrider and Pamela Carnicom, both of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Joshua (Julie) Sockrider and Kate (Travis) Thoma; great-grandchildren, Quintin and Sidney Sockrider, Allie, Jace and Jax Thoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Samuel and Harry Toepfer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Rev. Henry Seibert will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Public visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by DUNN FUNERAL HOME, 408 W. Wooster St., located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio.
Those wishing to send an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Williams Syndrome Program Nisonger Center, The Ohio State University, 395C McCampbell Hall, 1581 Dodd Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43210 or St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the caregivers at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo.
