Marian LaLonde, age 85 of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at The Hospice of Northwest Ohio following a long and brave battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was born August 21, 1928 on the family dairy farm, the fifth child of Oliver D. and Elizabeth (Swartzwalder) Brossia. She lived nearly her entire life on the property in Perrysburg Township.

She attended grade school at the former one-room school house at the corner of Bates and Ford roads, Glenwood Elementary and graduated from Perrysburg High School with the Class of 1946.
She served her country during World War II, working at the Rossford Ordnance Depot before leaving to raise her family.
She loved preparing many family holiday meals especially at Christmas and Thanksgiving, her signature German and Hungarian dinners, baking for her family and any music by her favorites, Lawrence Welk, Guy Lombardo and just about any rendition of the "Beer Barrel Polka." A good game of cards was her relaxation.
