Madelyn K. Amos, 73, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Bowling Green.
She was born July 28, 1939 in Portage, Ohio to Ardella (Fogle) and Melvin Amos.
Madelyn worked for the Wood County Probate Court as Deputy Clerk for over 30 years. She also was a cook for Ridge School.
She was a member of Portage United Methodist Church, where she served as organist for many years, Portage Rebekah Lodge, and she played with the Dulcimer's and Simple Sounds.
Madelyn is survived by two brothers, Ronald Amos and Terry (Sally) Amos, both of Portage, Ohio, and 16 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 from 3 to 8 p.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. The funeral will be held Saturday May 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Portage Cemetery. Rev. Bruce McDaniel will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to Portage United Methodist Church.
